My mother's diagnosis with terminal cancer came in the midst of the holiday season. Home Health & Hospice of Kansas made the end of my mother's journey easy and comfortable for her and my family. Without them, my family and I would have had no idea what to do. As much as we loved my mother, we had no idea how to care for her. Home Health & Hospice not only helped my mother, they helped my whole family. Even with a language barrier, they were kind, caring, and generous. Without them, we would have been lost.

Although we were home with your hospice services for less than a day we were very pleased with the care we received. We were nervous to bring our baby girl home knowing she would pass away here and worried about keeping her comfortable. Our nurse, Ann, met us as soon as we got home and didn't leave until we felt confident and at ease in our ability to care for our baby. We could tell that she really cared about us and we felt supported and knew she would be back over quickly if/when needed her help. When our baby died Ann was there for us without hovering and she facilitated the funeral home coming as well as the chaplain, Eddie, which we appreciated. Thank you.

We started with Home Health thinking mom would get stronger until she almost went down on me and it was time for Hospice which was a smooth transition. I couldn't believe how they provided the bed, meds and everything she needed for her comfort. Anytime day or night they were ready to instruct me what to do or come out and help. The last night when mom was struggling the nurse came out and stayed past her shift to take care of call etc. I am so happy that the chaplain came and gave her communion and being there right after mom died. I can never thank you enough for your kindness and helpfulness with her.

While this was not our first experience with hospice this was our first time with Home health of Kansas. It was our best experience! I am not someone who generally writes reviews however I think this time is different. My father went home from the hospital on hospice in the afternoon. I chose this company due to the reviews online and I am so so happy I did. The nurse came out late that afternoon and was there till 6:30. The nurse was out the following afternoon my father had declined even more. Our hospice nurse made arrangements to get a hospital bed that afternoon even though such short notice. Our meds had not been delivered and she left to get them so we would have comfort meds thru the night. She returned first thing the following morning and was there with us when my father passed. Despite some minor problems I just cannot recommend this company enough. My appreciation for what they did for my father and family is beyond words.
