Many conditions can lead to death; this may include but not limited to cancer, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, end-stage dementia/Alzheimer's disease, and many others.

My mother's diagnosis with terminal cancer came in the midst of the holiday season. Home Health & Hospice of Kansas made the end of my mother's journey easy and comfortable for her and my family. Without them, my family and I would have had no idea what to do. As much as we loved my mother, we had no idea how to care for her. Home Health & Hospice...

Although we were home with your hospice services for less than a day we were very pleased with the care we received. We were nervous to bring our baby girl home knowing she would pass away here and worried about keeping her comfortable. Our nurse, Ann, met us as soon as we got home and didn't leave until we felt confident and at ease in our ability...

We started with Home Health thinking mom would get stronger until she almost went down on me and it was time for Hospice which was a smooth transition. I couldn't believe how they provided the bed, meds and everything she needed for her comfort. Anytime day or night they were ready to instruct me what to do or come out and help. The last night when...

Everyone from the first call to the last were most helpful and professional! I couldn't have asked for better care. As a nurse I value compassionate expertise and that's exactly what we got! My mom could be a bit dismissive to everyone (including me) and the staff that visited just rolled with her ways and she even looked forward to their visits!

When it became apparent that mom was ready for Hospice-the Home Health Team was amazing. They talked to us and eased our fears and listened. Home Health of Kansas gave my husband Earl Richman the best of care before he passed away on Thanksgiving Day.
