Palliative Care

Relief and clarity during serious illness.

Palliative care focuses on symptoms, communication and quality of life while patients continue treatment, when clinically appropriate.

How palliative care may help

Symptom support

Help addressing burdensome symptoms associated with serious illness and treatment.

Clearer decisions

Support understanding options, clarifying goals and coordinating with the care team.

Palliative care is not the same as hospice

Palliative care may be provided alongside disease-directed treatment. Hospice is a distinct Medicare benefit for eligible patients whose goals have shifted toward comfort-focused care.

Start with what is happening

Call our team and describe the diagnosis, symptoms, recent changes and current treatment. We can explain whether our palliative program may be appropriate.

Program availability, eligibility, coverage and scope require confirmation for each patient and payer.
